Do you want to know whether you are really receiving the internet speed and reliability that your Internet Service Provider (ISP) promised you? Then there are two quick things you can check to make sure you are getting what you paid for. Before you can test your internet speed though, you need to know what upload and download speeds you are paying for. For an example, we will show you the interent plan we have and compare that to our actual internet speed.
Most of the information about your specific plan can be found either online or by making a quick call to your ISP. For our office, we use Comcast Business Class for internet and their information can easily be found on Comcast’s Internet Speed Pricing Page. We have the Premium Plan that provides 22Mbps of download speed and 5Mbps of upload speed.
